Napoleon Hill influenced more people who have become successful than any other person in history…why not you?
Posted in Personal Development on January 16th, 2007It seems unreal that a man born 124 years ago, Napoleon Hill, could have such a dynamic and lasting impact on man and the success of man (and women for that matter). His classic book “Think and Grow Rich” has probably been the single most important read for anyone looking to be successful. From poverty he rose to be a reporter at the age of 13. Later in life he had tremendous success as an attorney and journalist. His chance meeting with steel-magnate Andrew Carnegie sent his “stock soaring”…personal stock that is. Through a partnership with Carnegie he was able to gain access to the rich and famous and because of his great journalistic skills he was able to pave his own path to greatness. Along the way he left more than a few observations that we should all manifest and use for our own personal success. Here are a few.
“Cherish your visions and your dreams as they are the children of your soul, the blueprints of your ultimate achievements.”
“Every adversity, every failure, every heartache carries with it the seed on an equal or greater benefit.”
“If you do not conquer self, you will be conquered by self.”
“The ladder of success is never crowded at the top.”
“When defeat comes, accept it as a signal that your plans are not sound, rebuild those plans, and set sail once more toward your coveted goal.”
More to follow.
