Personal Development And You
By Frank Lawson

You eventually reach a point in your life when you’re ready for change and a whole bunch of information that’ll help you unleash your personal development potential. In a personal development plan trust, recognition, motivation and the importance of continuous personal development growth is essential.

Trying to learn new things without that essential acknowledgement usually means the learning won’t stick. There are several self-help books on the market, and they may have some very useful information, but a personal development seminar has a big advantage that the self help books do not. When you attend a personal development seminar, you have the benefit of talking to a trained counselor that can answer any questions that you may have and chances are they have been exactly where you are.

Once you have formed the habit of implementing a base of new principals of Personal Development, adding additional ones to your daily routine will become easier and your results will get better. As you typically have many new principals introduced into your life all at once, the habit forming process will take longer, so expect to see results in some areas of your life right away and some as time goes on. I find personal development profiles are a great start to the coaching process and help one to begin looking at their own behavior in ways they have probably never done before.

While each of us has unique self-improvement needs, the following guide does apply to most people on the path to personal development. When I was first introduced to the world of personal development, I was one of those people that said, “yeah right”. Let’s say you are one of the few people that actually get to the end of one of those personal development programs.

In Conclusion, if every human being just decided focus and concentrate on personal development, that would be the end of all conflicts between people and groups of people. All personal development involves change on some level, and change is a major source of stress for many people. Remember, the key ingredient in ANY Personal Development is YOU.

Personal Development Tips – Discover the Secret of Changing Your Life

Personal Development Tips – Discover the Secret of Changing Your Life
By Kevin J. John

“The greatest revolution of my generation is the discovery that by changing the inner attitudes of mind the average person can change the outer aspects of their life” William James, 1905.

This seemingly simple but extremely profound statement was made over 100 years ago by the Harvard psychologist and philosopher. It reflected the culmination of centuries of religious, metaphysical, scientific and philosophical studies into the fundamental truths of human existence.

What it means is that everything in your life – your health, your wealth, your relationships, your happiness in fact every part of your life is a direct reflection of the way that you think. You have attracted everything that you have in your life into your life as a result of the person you are.

The good news is that “all” you have to do is to change who you are and your life will start to change immediately!

The bad news is that no other way of changing your external results has been discovered. If you want to change your external results, there is only one thing you can do and that is to change your mind!

Personal development tip – how do I know what changes to make

There is no universal answer for what everyone has to do to be successful, what you need to do will depend on you, where you want to go, what you have learnt so far in your life… You can find out what changes you make by following these suggestions.

The key to success in making changes, in achieving anything in your life is clarity. You have to be absolutely clear about where you are going, so that you can be crystal clear about what you need to do to get there. Remember this: one of the key secrets of success for successful people is clarity.

Another perspective is to ask yourself am I really in balance across all the important areas of my life – knowledge, your mental skills, your relationships, your health and your spiritual life. If you are significantly out of balance in any of these areas it will show in your external results.

Accept ownership for your own circumstances – it is far easier to blame the outside world for what it happening to you rather than accepting that it is what you are doing inside that is driving your results. You just have to accept that you are responsible for everything that has happened to you.

You may need to take this as an act of faith at first, but go with it and watch how your thoughts and actions create your external results on a day to day basis and over time you will begin to seem that you are causing your results.

Be prepared to change. You may feel that you have spent your entire life struggling to learn, you’re educated, you’ve worked hard, now it’s time to sit back and enjoy the fruits of your hard work. Wrong – you live in a world of constant change, you are constantly changing. You have to accept that you will need to learn and adapt continually.

Development tips summarized

You internal state is reflected directly in your external results. You must take charge of developing your internal state to achieve the results you want.

The Essentials for a personal Development Growth and Defining a personal Development Plan

The Essentials for a Personal Development Growth and Defining a Personal Development Plan
By Janaki Ramani

Defining a personal development plan would mean altering the career path life cycle. Further, the main ingredient for a personal development growth schedule is to handle every assignment with the same vigor and enthusiasm like it was the very first one.

The success route is taking the high road and aspiring for a better life and being aware of the difference between right and wrong. Living life in quiet desperation and pursuing a dream only leads to a self-proclaimed revenue stream and a distinct lifestyle, which paves way to enter a comfort zone in life.

Part of the personal development plan is to have resolute determination. This is vividly exhibited in the movies “Search For The North Pole”, “The Alamo”, and “Saving Private Ryan”. These are cinematic expressions of resolute determination portrayed through conquering the frigid peaks of the North Pole, a bloody civil war to win back a state and a mother’s personal mission to find her lost son fighting in the army after losing three of her sons in WWWII.

Essentially for personal development growth, a few secrets from a super high performer helps. It isn’t just brains or education, though they certainly make success achievable. The act of doing it and constant perseverance that it should be done are clear winners.

History has stalwarts who have achieved unflinching success in this area. But along with their honor and consternation, is the fear of losing lives, suffering from poverty, humiliation and imprisonment. Ultimately, the choice is personal and without guts there is no glory.

For a proper personal development plan there are no short cuts. The truth is plain and simple and the benefit perceived is clear. A resolute decision will be easier and help in personal development growth if there is a dream and passion and also the ability to stretch beyond the comfort zone. Not going beyond can lead to stagnation even years of resolute determination. Remember, fear is False Expectation Appearing Real!

Personal Development Plan

Personal Development Plan
By Kevin Christopher

While most people realize that personal development is a positive step in improving
one’s life, some people may have difficulty in finding ways to accomplish it. This is
where a personal development plan is important. A personal development plan will help
you map out areas in which improvement is desired or necessary. A personal
development plan will also outline short and long term goals that are realistic. A personal
development plan will also identify the means to accomplish the changes that you want to
make in your life. Finally a personal development plan will document the steps you
make on the way so you can continually evaluate the progress that is made.

A personal development plan starts out with identifying the areas in which you want to
improve. Start out by making a list of the areas in your life where you have difficulty.
Then, order those areas so that you have the issue that is most pressing or needs the most
improvement so you can work on that first. It is not necessary to use a personal
development plan as a way to fix everything in your life all at once. Instead, you can
concentrate on one item at a time. This is a more manageable way to affect change in
your life and you will be able to see the results more quickly.

After you have identified the area in which you want to concentrate in your personal
development plan, think about goals that you want to accomplish. It is often easy to
come up with a grand scheme goal that will fix whatever it is you want to improve on.
However, those are generally long term goals. Once the long term goal is identified, try
coming up with smaller, short term goals. The benefit of this is that you will be able to
accomplish tasks in a shorter time period and see changes for the better. This will lead to
a sense of accomplishment and you will feel more motivated to continue.

For example, if you want to create a personal development plan for losing weight, you
may want to make several short term goals. Your long term goal may be that you want to
lose fifty pounds. Start out with short term goals such as exercising at least three times
per week for a half an hour each. Another short term goal can be to cut out or reduce
particular foods from your diet. After each short term goal is accomplished, you can
move on to another short term goal such as exercising five times per week, increasing the
duration, increasing weight training or changing your diet further.

After a goal is accomplished, rewards are a great motivation. Reward yourself positively
for sticking to your personal development plan goals. You can buy a new outfit or treat
yourself to a spa day since you will feel better about yourself. Be careful, though, not to
reward negatively in ways that will work against your personal development plan. For
example, in the weight scenario, do not reward yourself with a chocolate cake. This
could cause you to backslide.

Identify a means of support in your personal development plan. You can contact your
physician, seek counseling, identify support groups geared toward your particular issue or
read books. It is not easy to change without help so don’t try. Get the support you need.
Use your personal development plan to document the changes that are being made and
the progress you are making. This will help you continually evaluate your personal
development plan and allow you to revise it from time to time if necessary.

8.9 Billion Dollar Industry…How you Can get Your share

8.9 Billion Dollar Industry
By David Allred

Personal development this last year had roughly an 8.9 billion dollar year and is expected to have a 50% increase in revenue this year! That is a massive industry and I know I was part of the contributing party. In a time period where information is at the peak of availability and is most abundant, the personal development industry will continue to experience growth. There are some big names in this industry who have helped a ton of people when it comes to success and personal improvement. The information that is shared is valuable….and the individuals who share it make a lot of money and have helped others to become successful as well.

I work with a wholesale company who has taken the industry of personal development and combined it with a very unique and lucrative income opportunity. The personal development industry provides information helpful in improving financially, but lacks the opportunity to do so through a business. I am a personal mentor for those seeking prosperity and personal fulfillment. I am part of a group of self-made millionaires who are all headed towards a similar goal, total and complete freedom. I personally mentor highly qualified individuals who have a burning desire to succeed in all they do. I demonstrate a simple business model that assists in marketing the three personal development products this company offers to create a massive income working from home.

This business is not your typical conventional business. It is more of an unconventional business. Instead of having to deal with a store front, long hours, employees, insurance, and high operating expenses, it allows you to leverage your time and has virtually an unlimited income potential. All of this without having to work all the time. I work about 4 hours and day and have complete control of when I work and who I work with.

Learn and apply the principles of the Law of Attraction and the concepts contained in “The Secret” movie. Continue to not only being a dreamer, but also a doer of your dreams. Enjoy the benefits of being self-employed and experience a business who’s products can and will transform your life financially and personally.

My name is David Allred and I have built my successful home based business and can teach you how to make money and obtain an ultimate lifestyle of prosperity and abundance. If you are looking for a vehicle, I can teach you a business that can and will transform you life.

If You Don’t Know What “the Secret” Is All About then Don’t Worry – I’m Gonna Tell You

If You Don’t Know What “The Secret” Is All About Then Don’t Worry – I’m Gonna Tell You
By Gary Simpson

I’ve never seen so much publicity and advertising for a documentary. The documentary that I speak of is called “The Secret.” Being a student of motivation, self esteem, personal development and all matters pertaining to success I had to go and buy a copy.

For me, The Secret, didn’t contain anything I didn’t really already know. That’s not to say that I was disappointed with the content of the DVD. It just presented a well-known success principle from a different perspective.

So, for the uninitiated what is this “Secret?” Put very simply it is the concept of the “Law of Attraction.” It is also known by its acronym – LOA. I learned about LOA or manifestation some 20 years ago when I participated in my first Bob Proctor self development course. So it did not surprise me that Bob Proctor featured heavily within the documentary. He has been teaching this stuff for a long time.

LOA is also the premise behind Napoleon Hill’s famous book called “Think and Grow Rich.” LOA is also the fundamental premise behind my own manual called “How to Stop Wasting Your Life and Start Getting What You Want.”

The owner of The Secret, Rhonda Byrne, has done a marvellous job promoting this DVD and book. There is also a huge range of ancillary products available. From my own point of view I have to say that The Secret is not much of a secret at all.

I will say that The Secret is very nicely filmed and presented. No expense has been spared to make it very visually appealing.

I wonder how much notice people will take of its message. I hope plenty of people do. There is far too much negative thought, negative vibration and negative energy in this world. A good dose of positivity won’t hurt one little bit!

Gary Simpson is the author of nine books covering a diverse range of subjects such as motivation, self esteem, affirmations, self defense, wealth creation and much more.
